John Waddle Memorial Shoot

 Dear Friends of Loaves & Fishes,

Mark your calendar — the John Waddle Memorial Shoot is coming up on August 22 at Cross Creek Clays in Palmyra, and we can't pull it off without a great team behind us.

This event is one of our most important fundraisers of the year, helping cover the essential costs that keep our doors open and our neighbors fed. John Waddle believed in showing up for this community, and every volunteer who steps up honors that legacy.

We are looking for help in three key areas:

Promotion
Help us spread the word before the big day — sharing on social media, distributing flyers, making personal calls to potential participants and sponsors, and helping build excitement in the community.

Silent Auction
Assist with soliciting auction items from local businesses, organizing and displaying items the day of the event, and managing bidding activity throughout the shoot.

Day-of Event Support
Be part of the crew that makes the day run smoothly — greeting guests, managing registration, supporting station activities, and helping with setup and breakdown.

No experience necessary — just a willing heart and a few hours of your time. Specific role assignments and a brief orientation will be provided to every volunteer.
