All elementary students are invited to participate in the third annual Candy Cane Olympics following Second Sunday lunch on December 8th. Families are always invited to stay or can sneak away to do some shopping! We will conclude the games with closing ceremonies at 2pm. Our FPC Youth Group will be Christmas shopping after the Olympics until 4:30pm. All youth, grades 4th-12th are invited to shop and wrap gifts for our families.

The Littles would like to invite young adults and families to lunch after Sunday School/The Trek next Sunday, Oct. 27 at their home around noon. They will serve brisket, hot dogs, beans, and sides. You can bring a dish but certainly don't feel obligated. Kids are welcome. RSVP is appreciated but not necessary. Please try to come if you are available! So grateful to the Littles for hosting! 

Aren't you curious to find out what Pastor Greg experienced and learned this summer during his sabbatical? Hear all about it at Faith Focus this Wednesday, October 23. Eat dinner with us at 5:30 and stay for the program from 6 to 7 pm! Children's activities provided.

DWELL's annual Friendsgiving party is approaching! Young adults are invited to an evening of food, karaoke, and games on Sunday, November 24 from 4 to 7 pm. Please RSVP to Hannah Cruse so we can arrange a potluck. Located in Fellowship Hall at 213 Main St. 

The Learning Center, Preschool, Seasons, church events, and pickleball will take off for Fall Break on October 14-18. Enjoy some rest and relaxation!  Note that all choir practices and Faith Focus are also canceled. We will still have Mon. yoga and Wed. Bible Study.

The FPC Learning Center invites you to their Scholastic Book Fair in the Chapel this Fall!  Sunday, Sept. 22 11:00-12:15  Monday, Sept. 23 - Thursday, Sept. 26  8:45-9:30, 11:45-12:30, & 1:45-2:30 

The young adults at FPC are invited to go as a group to the Clarksville Oktoberfest on Sunday, Sept. 29 at Beachaven Winery (1100 Dunlop Ln). Free admission, live polka band, German foods, wines and beers, games, dancing, and activities for the whole family. Talk to Hannah Cruse for more details.

We are bringing back our "Halloween Hunt" for the 4th year! Ever seen the hidden nooks and crannies of our 19th-century building in the dark? Come out on October 26 from ***6:00-7:30 pm*** for a family scavenger hunt, dressing up in costumes (no face masks please), treats and bag decoration, and spooky organ music. Follows Fright on Franklin events from 3 to 6 pm. This is a perfect alternative to the craziness of Halloween night for families and children!

The Youth Group is gearing up to meet for Lunch and Games from 12 to 1:30 p.m. following 11:15 a.m. Sunday School on September 15. All students grades 4-12 are invited to join us for lunch, games and fellowship! 

Every Sunday starting on Sept. 15th, we will offer PK-12 Sunday School classes right after worship until around 11:50 a.m. The "Feasting on the Word" curriculum will guide us to connect Scripture to our daily lives and families. Ms. Emily will be in the hallway by the Library to help everyone find their correct classrooms. Parents are welcome to join The Trek Discussion Group or enjoy a cup of coffee in Fellowship Hall. Nursery is available until noon except on 2nd Sundays. 

Just 25 minutes from FPC, the War Memorial Walking Trail in Oak Grove, KY will be releasing over 2000 butterflies on Saturday, September 7. The DWELL group for young adults and families plans to make it an outing. Arrive at 2 pm for food trucks, face painting and other engaging activities, an interactive butterfly house, and the butterfly release at 4 pm. Admission and parking is free. Let Hannah Cruse know you're coming.

Join us for Rally Day on September 8! During lunch after worship, we will celebrate the beginning of all our exciting programs available to various age and interest groups at FPC this year. Learn about the programs you can look forward to below: MINISTRIES Wednesday Night Faith Focus Contact: Hannah Cruse or Dianne York " Faith Focus " started in 2023 with a Lilly Endowment grant through the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship. We are continuing it this year without the grant as a congregational boots-on-the-ground laboratory for connecting our worship and work. We will explore together what it means to put our faith into action. Come to Fellowship Hall on Wednesdays from 5:30 to 7:00 pm for dinner, presentation, group discussion, and hands-on activities. FPC youth in grades 4-12 are invited to an evening of food, fun and fellowship on August 17 th , 6-8:30 p.m., to kick off the new school year at the home of Paul Cox. Please let Emily or Paul know if you plan to be there. 

Don't forget to sign up your kids for school! Orientation is on August 8 from 11-12 for Preschool and August 12 from 10:30-11:30 for the Learning Center. First Day of school on August 12.

Children, youth, college students, and educators: bring your backpacks or workbags to be blessed during worship on August 4! This is a wonderful tradition and great way to set an intention of positivity and prayer at the beginning of the school year.
