Announcing New Grant-Funded Wednesday Program, "Faith Focus: A Lab for Worship & Work"

We are incredibly excited to announce a new Wednesday program coming in the fall of 2023--Faith Focus! This program is proudly made possible through a Vital Worship Grant from the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship, Grand Rapids, Michigan, with funds provided by Lilly Endowment Inc.

Wednesday Night Faith Focus at FPC will be a congregational boots-on-the-ground laboratory for connecting our worship and work. Faith Focus will aim to renew our church and community by cultivating deeper faith, spiritual growth, supportive relationships, gratefulness, and service. We will have opportunities to grow in our faith through weekly dinners that facilitate fellowship, presentations that expand our mindsets, exercises that help us put faith into action, and moments to testify about what God is doing through us in the world. 

A lot of planning will be required to bring this structured and intentional weekly program to life. So we have constructed a Steering Committee of wise, energetic volunteers and staff to work on Faith Focus together over the course of one year. In worship on June 25, we will introduce those Steering Committee members who are able to attend and talk a bit more about Faith Focus.

If at all possible, we ask that you block off 5:00-6:30 pm on Wednesday, August 30 in your calendars. This will be our Faith Focus Kickoff for the fall, and we want to see you there!
