Peace and Global Witness Offering for World Communion Sunday

A gift to the Peace & Global Witness Offering enables the church to promote the Peace of Christ by addressing systems of conflict and injustice across the world. Individual congregations are encouraged to utilize up to 25% of this Offering to connect with the global witness of Christ's peace. We invite you to participate in this special offering on World Communion Sunday, October 3. Make a note in the memo line of your check or cash envelope that says "Special Offering."

The above picture shows the kitchen for the school in Bois Brulee, Haiti – the school we support through our mission dollars. As school started in September, the community asked if they could build a real kitchen. We don’t yet have an estimate, but we want to help!

93% of the students at the school in Bois Brulee scored PROFICIENT on the state achievement tests this year – and have endured COVID, the assassination of the President, and the aftershocks of a strong earthquake. (Students in CMCSS didn’t take the state tests this year.)

We encourage your gifts to the Peace & Global Witness Offering so that we can support our brothers and sisters in Haiti, and so that our Presbytery and Denomination can also support projects around the world that address conflict and justice.
