NaCoMe Family Camp Program this Summer

NaCoMe is  trying to raise awareness for their Family Camp program. The Family Camp is an intergenerational camp experience run to help families enjoy the outdoors, gain new experiences, and grow closer to God together. The dates this year are June 28th-30th. Faith Focus on April 17: "Children in Foster Care: A Christian Perspective" with Dr. Quentin Humberd

Make sure you take advantage of this grant-funded program for its final month! Dr. Quentin Humberd will speak at Faith Focus this Wednesday on mental health challenges, foster care, and how we can help children in Clarksville. Join us for dinner at 5:00 and the program until 6:30 in Fellowship Hall. Childcare is provided. 

Learning Center Students Starting Seeds with the Green Team

The Green Team will teach Learning Center students how to start seeds on April 17 at 12:30 p.m. with the goal to eventually plant the seedlings in the Teaching Garden. The project aims to spark love for creation and equip young people with the knowledge to grow food. Interested in helping the Green Team with other projects?? Contact Hannah Cruse/church office.

DWELL Young Adults Handing Out Meals to the Hungry on April 14

Dwell Ministries young adults are invited to box up meals after Second Sunday Lunch on April 14 and hand them out to the hungry at the Downtown Commons. Plan to stay until 12:30 pm. This is a great opportunity to reduce food waste and help those in need.

Faith Focus on April 10: "A Diversity of Truths" by Writer Susan Steen

Join us on April 10 from 5 to 6:30 for Faith Focus in Fellowship Hall. Local writer Susan Steen will speak on “A Diversity of Truths,” helping us develop an understanding of diverse truths through the lens of unity and love, guided by the wisdom and compassion of our faith. Complimentary dinner and childcare!

Committee Spotlight: Fellowship and Facility Use Committees

At our Session meetings each month, different committees report to the Session about what they accomplished the previous year and some goals for the upcoming year. We also share our areas of greatest need. Each month, we are going to highlight those committees so that the congregation will know what our committees are up to!  Here are the latest committees to report. The Fellowship Committee Mission Statement:  to promote and coordinate social gatherings within the church to encourage fun and fellowship through providing convenient meals to the congregation and visitors.
