"Turning Tragedy into Hope" - Presentation by Cindy Johnson at Wednesday Family Fellowship

Image
Cindy Curtis Johnson, her husband Glenn, and her children moved to Clarksville in 1991 and have called it HOME ever since.  In 2009, her son Brandon died.  Prior to his death, she thought she had endured tragedies but quickly realized, nothing else even came close to this tragedy.  She wrote a book which was published in 2011 titled:  “Turning Tragedy Into Hope”. Cindy will be sharing about how God has allowed her greatest tragedy to direct her path and give her a strength and courage she could have never imagined before.  She knows if God has done this for her, He can and will do the same for you.  Join her on her journey of healing and hope.

Meditations and Prayer Prompts, January 15-22, 2023

Sunday, January 15, 2023 Second Sunday after Epiphany John 1:35–39 (ESV)  The next day again John was standing with two of his disciples, and he looked at Jesus as he walked by and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God!” The two disciples heard him say this, and they followed Jesus. Jesus turned and saw them following and said to them, “What are you seeking?” And they said to him, “Rabbi” (which means Teacher), “where are you staying?” He said to them, “Come and you will see.” So they came and saw where he was staying, and they stayed with him that day, for it was about the tenth hour. Prayer prompt:  The thing about asking Jesus where he stays is that he doesn’t seem to stay in just one place.  In Matthew 8, Jesus says that foxes have their dens and birds their nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.  Jesus mostly spent his time with the poor, the outcasts, and sinners.  Pray today for Jesus to show you where he is staying, so that you may follow him into the 10,000 places
