Spiritfest 2023 Coming to Downtown Clarksville on December 2nd!

On Saturday, December 2nd , Spiritfest 2023 will be held in downtown Clarksville  from 2:00 to 4:30 pm.  Come to the corner of Third St. and Main St. for holiday festivities!   At the Downtown Commons ( 215 Legion Street ), there will be live music, Santa Claus, kids' activities, and food trucks.  At 4:30 , Montgomery County Mayor Wes Golden will light the Christmas Tree. Warm up inside Trinity’s Parish Hall (317 Franklin St.) with cookies and Hot Chocolate.  Visit the First Presbyterian Chapel (213 Main St.) for an opportunity to dress up and be a part of the live nativity. Dress up clothes and animals including a camel, donkey, and goats provided! Inside the First Presbyterian Fellowship Hall, there will be art, non-profit booths, music, and coffee.  Following Spiritfest around 5 pm, the Clarksville Lighted Christmas Parade will make its way through Downtown Clarksville.  Don't miss this spectacular afternoon to kick off the Christmas season! 

Light a Candle for a Loved One on All Saints Sunday

If you would like to light a candle in honor of a loved one for All Saints Sunday, come 10-15 mins early to 10 am worship this Sunday. The congregation is invited to light candles upon entry into the sanctuary in memory of those whom you have loved in this life, who now live eternally with the Lord.

Join Advent Choir and Sing for Lessons and Carols!

Singers are invited to join "Advent Choir" to sing for Lessons and Carols on Dec. 10. We practice at 7:15 in the choir room each Wednesday (except Nov. 22). Look forward to anthems with harp, cello, and flute. Let Hannah Cruse know if interested!

FPC to Host Presbytery of Middle TN Quarterly Meeting

FPC will host the Presbytery of Middle TN for their next meeting on Thursday, Nov. 9. Congregants are invited to the opening worship service held in the sanctuary at 10 a.m.

Green Team Taking on Preschool Playground Cleanup

The Preschool playground between FPC and the neighboring building is in need of repair. The Green Team will remove mulch and seed the area on Saturday, Nov. 4. Let Hannah Cruse or Ann Waddle know if you'd like to assist.

Annual Congregational Meeting on October 29 after Worship

The Annual Congregational Meeting at the end of worship (11am) on Oct. 29 is for the purpose of 1) electing elders to serve on Session for the next three years, 2) approving transfer of the parking lot to the Irene Center for management, and 3) approving changes to the Pastor's Terms of Call for 2024. Please make every effort to attend as this is an important part of church membership!
