Bowling at Pinnacle with DWELL Young Adults (January 14)

DWELL is going bowling at Pinnacle Family Entertainment Center (430 Warfield Blvd, Clarksville, TN 37043) this Sunday starting at 12:15! Those of us attending worship will have Second Sunday Lunch together at 11:15 beforehand.

Play Pickleball for Free at FPC's Activities and Outreach Center

Come play pickleball in FPC's Activities and Outreach Center ( 215 Foster St. ) The program is open to all, and donations are accepted.    We have balls and four paddles for those who do not have their own equipment.  Walk-in play is on Wednesdays and Fridays, 3:00-5:00 pm. Please email  fpc.pickleball@gmail.com to request a schedule or reserve courts.

Nursery and Sunday School Every Sunday

Did you know that we offer Childcare and Children's Church every Sunday at FPC? Infant through Pre-K children can check-in starting at 9:45 at the Playroom on the 2nd floor. Childcare is available through 12 pm so that parents can go to "The Trek" Discussion Group or out to lunch.  Children may also go to Children's Church right after the Children's Moment during 10 am worship. They come back into worship around 10:45.  If you have any questions, please let us know! We want parents and kids to feel welcome and served. 

Snow Tubing and Skiing Trip with the Youth Group in February!

Youth and friends are invited on a snow tubing and skiing trip at Perfect North Resort in Indiana from February 17 through 19!  Reserve your spot with a $25 payment to Emily Vaughn (checks written to FPC) by January 21st.

Scholastic Book Fair in the Chapel during December 10-13

The Scholastic Book Fair will be taking place Dec. 10-13. Come after worship from 11 to 12 in the chapel or Mon-Wed 8:30-9:30, 11:30-12:30, and 2-3.

Learning Center & Preschool Christmas Events and Last Days of Class

Both the Learning Center and Preschool will have Christmas Spirit Week on Dec. 11 through 14! Join the Preschool for Open House on the 13th at 11 am.  We will have Christmas caroling in the sanctuary along with delicious treats, artwork, and a Book Fair.  The  Scholastic Book Fair  will take place between Dec. 10 through 13. The last day of classes for the Learning Center and the Preschool is December 14th.  The last day is a half-day for the Learning Center. Preschool will not have "extended day" (12:00-2:00) on the 13th or 14th. 

Give Education Scholarships to Support Our Children and Young Adults

FPC has established an Education Fund for the purpose of promoting, encouraging, and supporting our education programs at the church. We serve children from age one in our Preschool to K-12 in our Learning Center and young adults in our Seasons program. Donations to the Education Fund will help us grow this ministry of the church and will enable us to assist families in financial need with scholarships from time to time. Children's Christmas Pageant during Worship on December 10

The Annual Children's Christmas Pageant is coming up on December 10th during the 10:00am service. The Sunday School classes will practice during worship on Dec. 3 and then warmup on Dec. 10 at 9:30 in the Chapel. Contact Emily Vaughn with any questions. 

FPC Youth in Action Shopping for Angel Tree Together on Dec. 10

The FPC Youth will be shopping for local children from Liberty Elementary and Moore Elementary on Dec. 10 after worship. Members of the congregation can give donations for shopping directly to Emily Vaughn or Paul Cox.

Candy Cane Olympics for Pre-K, Elementary, and Youth on December 10!

It’s time for the Candy Cane Olympics! The FPC Youth are excited to invite our Pre-K and Elementary students to this fun event on December 10th from 3:30-5:30 pm at the AOC. It will take place during Lessons and Carols, followed by dinner with everyone in Fellowship Hall. Contact Emily Vaughn with any questions. 

"A Christmas Story" Multigenerational Play at Faith Focus on December 13

Join us on December 13th from 5 to 6:30 pm for a multigenerational Christmas play and dinner during our Faith Focus Wednesday night event. No prior experience or practice needed. Show up, get a part and dress the role to share the Christmas story in a new and fun filled way.

Friendsgiving 2023 at the Tindle's Home on November 19!

You are invited to the home of Raena and Blake Tindle on Nov. 19 from 4:30 to 7 pm for Friendsgiving, with potluck dinner and games! RSVP to Hannah Cruse no later than Nov. 15 so we will know how many tables to set up/how much food to bring and can send you parking instructions. Limited space available. Celebrate the holidays with your friends from FPC!

Spiritfest 2023 Coming to Downtown Clarksville on December 2nd!

On Saturday, December 2nd , Spiritfest 2023 will be held in downtown Clarksville  from 2:00 to 4:30 pm.  Come to the corner of Third St. and Main St. for holiday festivities!   At the Downtown Commons ( 215 Legion Street ), there will be live music, Santa Claus, kids' activities, and food trucks.  At 4:30 , Montgomery County Mayor Wes Golden will light the Christmas Tree. Warm up inside Trinity’s Parish Hall (317 Franklin St.) with cookies and Hot Chocolate.  Visit the First Presbyterian Chapel (213 Main St.) for an opportunity to dress up and be a part of the live nativity. Dress up clothes and animals including a camel, donkey, and goats provided! Inside the First Presbyterian Fellowship Hall, there will be art, non-profit booths, music, and coffee.  Following Spiritfest around 5 pm, the Clarksville Lighted Christmas Parade will make its way through Downtown Clarksville.  Don't miss this spectacular afternoon to kick off the Christmas season! 

Faith Focus on October 25: The Mind-Body Connection with Sanctuary on Main

This Wednesday at Faith Focus, representatives from Sanctuary on Main will lead us in exploring "The Mind-Body Connection" with light movement and guided meditation. As always, dinner begins at 5:00 in Fellowship Hall followed by the presentation and children's activities around 5:45. Join us as we dig deeper into the everyday implications of our faith and put those beliefs into action through this grant-funded worship program!
