Laurie Davis, daughter of Yvonne Hiett, will showcase her incredible @tangledtiles mosaics in the Chapel on Thursday, Nov. 1 from 5 to 8 pm!

ARTIST STATEMENT:

Looking for a special piece? Let's discuss mosaic designs and custom colors to fit your personality and style. People love giving and receiving artisan gifts created especially for them. My designs explode with color and happiness in every piece.

I invite you to touch these glass pieces, feel the texture and look closely. Find something new every time you examine the details. Each @tangledtiles design is an original. I love designing functional art to add pizzazz to your patio, den, and lifestyle.

Nature truly provides most of my inspiration, with many pieces motivated by water or the ever-changing beauty of the woods. The outside world translates beautifully into glass and mosaic designs.

Nature provides stunning inspiration and many of my mosaic pieces are inspired when hiking in the woods, walking along the seashore at the beach, and sitting out late at night to watch the stars. By creating "glass still life" moments with tiny pieces of tile, stained glass, rocks, and found objects, I share my view of the world, with its wild configuration of colors and textures!

My work has been showcased at "The Best of Tennessee Craft" exhibitions at the Tennessee State Museum and also at The Nashville International Airport.
