Loaves & Fishes

Our local food pantry and mission to the homeless, located at 825 Crossland Ave, needs our help shelving items in the warehouse and serving the guests. Please confirm your availability by July 18 so we can let them know how many volunteers to expect.

Harpeth River Float
Sun, July 31, 6:00-8:00pm

Bring your own tube (about $7 at Walmart) and meet us on the Harpeth in Pegram for a 1.5-2 hour easy float! Prepare for getting wet and being out in the sun. We'll provide some snacks and drinks to enjoy at the final swimming hole destination. 

Worship Night @
Downtown Commons
Wed, August 3, 6:00-7:00pm

Come sing and worship with us for this concert in the park, led by artists from Crosspoint Church. Everyone is invited to come early and bring family, friends and their own chairs and blankets.

Practicing Our Faith Discussion @ Sanctuary on Main Cafe
Sun, August 14, 11:30am-12:30pm

If you yearn for deeper spiritual discernment, connection with a faith community, and ways to take action in your life, these group discussions are for you. Our topic this day will be "shaping communities." Meet at 334 Main St.

Strawberry Alley Ale Works

Hang out for food, drinks, and company at the Upstairs part of the restaurant. Games are available. Meet us there or walk over with others from FPC following worship. Childcare and food compensation can be arranged if requested in advance. 

Songwriting Workshop @ FPC
Fri, August 26 - Sun, August 28

Youth and adults in Clarksville are invited to write and perform a song together at FPC with worship leaders Kenny and Claire! Our objective will be to a) learn basic songwriting skills, b) cowrite at least one worship song--both music and lyrics--and c) perform the music during worship on Sunday with the assistance of FPC musicians.
