Celebrating 1700 Years of Ecumenical Christian Witness through the Nicene Creed

FPC will join Christians around the world in celebrating the 1700th anniversary of the Nicene Creed (Council of Nicaea, May–July, 325). The Nicene Creed is the most ecumenical of our creeds, affirmed by Eastern Orthodox, Roman Catholic, and most Protestant churches. It represents the preservation of the biblical witness to the truth of the Trinity in the face of conflict and persecution in the context of Graeco-Roman ideas and culture. It is a firm foundation for expressing our faith in a changing world.
